The Revenger: The 1996 THRILLER starring Phil ElmorE

The Revenger tells the story of Cole Carleton, who is murdered by oil executives who seek to steal the land on which is domesticated cat ranch is located. Unable to rest easy and imbued with the power of the feline goddess, Bast, Cole returns as The Revenger, a spectral spirit of vengeance determined to reclaim all that he has lost. 

Wielding the power of the Demon Cycle and physically incapable of death, Cole's biggest problem becomes the call of the Demon Wheels. Can he resist the power long enough to become human once more... or will he give in, on the path of vengeance, and remain a restless spirit traveling the land to vent his hatred and bitterness?

Filming took place in Missouri and in areas of Arizona and New Mexico, thanks in part to a special grant from the Branson Chamber of Commerce. Filming locations used some of the same venues as, and even a few remaining sets from, 1994's Shazaam featuring David Adkins. Ironically, screenwriter, lead, and director Phil Elmore had to be aged with makeup effects for the film, committing to shaving his head and dyeing his facial hair to appear three decades older. Were The Revenger to be filmed today, Elmore's age would reflect that specified in the script.
